How To Raise Your Vibrations Through Self-Love

These are the vibrational frequencies we emit when we feel these emotions and the higher the vibrations we emit, the higher our chances are for attracting positive things in our lives. Manifesting our desired future will suddenly become almost effortless!

Neptune went retrograde on June 23 and this will end on November 28, 2020. 

This means it is the perfect time for you to delve deeper into self-development, soul nourishment, and any other self-love daily actions or activities that allows you to explore and release negative feelings.

Here are 4 simple steps you can take to practice self-love on a daily basis to raise your vibrations.

1. Start your day with a grateful heart

Be grateful for the air you breathe, the restful sleep you just had, and the roof over your head. You are blessed beyond words and sometimes you may tend to forget that. 

Start your day with positive thoughts, like how lovely you look today, how fresh the air is. Anything that could make you smile. 

Did you know that when you smile, it releases positive energy which compels your brain to feel happy? And that emotion is “joy” which emits 540 vibrational frequencies.

Have you ever starting your day on the wrong side of bed and a stranger or someone you know smiles at you and it suddenly makes you forget about the bad day you had.

It’s because smiling creates a ripple effect from one person to another. 

So next time you’re having a bad day or if you know someone who’s having a bad day, send them some positive vibes by smiling!

2. Accept compliments and try complimenting yourself in the mirror

You would think you might look silly by talking to yourself in the mirror but this has a huge effect on your self-esteem and mood – which will affect your entire day.

When someone compliments you, do you say “Thank you” or downplay it? Embrace the compliments thrown at you. If people find you talented, smart, and gorgeous then you should too.

When was the last time you complimented yourself? Do it in front of the mirror! If you feel uncomfortable saying it out loud, you can say it in your mind. What matters is you believe in it, and accept it wholeheartedly!

This boosts your confidence and positivity. Go ahead and try it before you begin your day and see the domino effect of positivity take place in your life.

Or better yet, create a mantra that you can recite daily and make it a habit.

3. Care for yourself as you would care for a child

Did you know that you have an inner child? A child is in constant need of attention, kindness, love, understanding, and utmost care.

Be kind to yourself from the inside out – take care of your mind, body, and soul. Set some time aside for yourself to reset. Your inner child has a voice and you have to listen to it. Do you feel like resting today? Your body needs it, rest some more. Do you feel ecstatic and energetic today? Go and accomplish things you’ve been putting off, your body needs it!

When you feel like moving your body, walk around your neighborhood, the forest or along the beach. Connect with nature, do some stretching, yoga, or Tai Chi. Exercise releases happy endorphins which puts you back to the emotion “joy”.

The more you listen to your body, the more you will be in sync with it and know exactly what it needs to be happy and fulfilled. Love yourself at the deepest level.

4. Practice Loving-Kindness Meditation

There are several kinds of meditation practice and LKM or loving-kindness meditation is centered on self-love

Here’s a simple and powerful loving kindness meditation method to try out:

  • Set a few-minutes of me-time each day where you can sit comfortably and undisturbed. Go to a quiet room or when everyone is asleep (if you’re not alone) 
  • Start by closing your eyes, next relax your muscles, then take a few deep breaths. 
  • Visualize yourself feeling full physical and emotional peace, like being hugged by your Guardian Angel. Picture total physical and spiritual wellness. 

Envision feeling pure love for yourself. Thank and accept yourself for who you really are.  You are enough, you are awesome just as you are. Focus on this awareness of peace, and picture yourself breathing out toxic air and tension and breathing in feelings of hope, acceptance and love.

Recite reassuring words to yourself. For example:

  • May I be peaceful
  • May I be protected
  • May I be strong, happy, and healthy
  • May I give and receive love today
